The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Active Life Physiotherapy 8 GmbHMaximilianstraße 1082319 StarnbergDeutschland0173 5228184info@alp8physio.de2. The essentials
This website uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services and sets no cookies for such purposes. Fonts are loaded from our own server; no connection to Google or any other third party is made to do so.
We process personal data only where it is needed to run the website, to answer your enquiries or – if you expressly ask for it – to show a map. The details are below.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Whenever a page is requested, the host automatically processes data your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the previously visited page (referrer), browser type and operating system.
This is technically necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in operating the website securely and without errors.
We have a data processing agreement with the host under Art. 28 GDPR. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR); the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. More information: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
4. Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we process the details you provide: your name, your email address, optionally your phone number, and your message, plus the language you are reading the site in. We use this data solely to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to arrange an appointment with you.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns treatment, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in answering the enquiries addressed to us.
If you tell us about your health in your message, we process that information on the basis of Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with § 22(1) no. 1(b) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), in order to prepare your treatment. As physiotherapists, we are bound by professional confidentiality. Please do not send detailed medical findings through the form; we are happy to discuss them in person.
The form is transmitted encrypted. Your message is sent as an email to our own mailbox, which we run on Google Workspace (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We have a data processing agreement with Google. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Beyond that, your message is not stored with any other service provider.
To prevent abuse, your IP address is held briefly in the server's memory to limit too many requests in a short time. It is not stored permanently and is not linked to your message (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. If treatment follows, the statutory retention periods for treatment records apply, usually ten years (§ 630f(3) of the German Civil Code, BGB).
5. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details for the same purposes, on the same legal bases and with the same deletion periods as for the contact form. Emails to us are stored in our Google Workspace mailbox.
6. Google Maps
On our contact page you can choose to display a map from Google Maps. The map is not loaded automatically, only when you click “Load map”. Only then does your browser connect to Google's servers. Google receives, among other things, your IP address and may set cookies or read information stored on your device.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is your consent, which you give with the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). We do not store your choice: the next time you visit the page, the map is only loaded again if you click again. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by reloading the page. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy
The “Get directions” link opens Google Maps in a new window or in your maps app. No data is sent to Google through it before you click it.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object: where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise these rights, simply use the contact details under section 1 above.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, https://www.lda.bayern.de
9. Further information
You are under no legal or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data. Without your contact details, however, we cannot answer your enquiry.
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
